About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of critical projects in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire . This role is central to the successful delivery of new network deployments, infrastructure upgrades, and service implementations within the competitive telecoms market . You will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Oversee the procurement and management of third-party vendors and contractors involved in project delivery.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders on progress, challenges, and key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successful project management in the telecommunications industry , with PMP or PRINCE2 certification being highly desirable.
- Extensive experience managing complex network infrastructure projects, fibre deployments, or mobile site rollouts.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring project profitability and efficiency.
- Experience working within a hybrid working model and coordinating teams across different locations.
