About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects within their organisation in London . You will be instrumental in overseeing project lifecycles from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. This pivotal role requires a proactive individual adept at managing multiple stakeholders, mitigating risks, and driving project success in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with diverse teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations, to deliver high-quality outcomes and foster a culture of excellence in project delivery and execution across the entire organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines for assigned projects.
- Manage project execution, closely monitoring progress, identifying and resolving impediments , and ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to achieve project milestones.
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings , providing clear and concise project updates, and managing expectations effectively.
- Implement robust risk management strategies, proactively identifying potential issues and developing mitigation plans.
- Ensure all project documentation is maintained and archived according to company standards and best practices for future reference.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills .
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups in a corporate setting .
- Proficiency in budget management, resource allocation, and risk assessment .
