About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Project Manager to lead complex initiatives within their dynamic organization based in London, England . You will be instrumental in driving projects from inception through to successful completion, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and stakeholder expectations. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional adept at managing cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and delivering exceptional results in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining objectives, deliverables, resource requirements, and success metrics.
- Manage project risks and issues proactively, implementing effective mitigation strategies and escalating when necessary.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication among project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership, providing regular status updates and performance reports.
- Oversee the management of project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, fostering professional growth and best practice sharing.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in project management , with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
- Demonstrable expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
- Experience managing projects within the London metropolitan area or a similar large urban setting is advantageous.
