About the Role
Our client seeks a dedicated and experienced Pharmaceutical Project Manager to join their esteemed organization in Cardiff . This role is central to the successful execution of key pharmaceutical development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, managing cross-functional teams, and stakeholder communication, all within a highly regulated and innovative environment. Your leadership will be instrumental in bringing vital new medicines to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented atmosphere.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Manage communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and issues.
- Ensure all project activities adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent experience. A Master's degree or PMP certification is advantageous.
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing complex projects within the pharmaceutical industry .
- Strong understanding of drug development lifecycle, regulatory affairs, and quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities.
