About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Project Manager to join their team, operating on a fully remote basis. This role is essential for the successful planning and execution of various IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, and system integrations. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and budgets while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders across the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT systems and project management principles, thriving in a remote environment where autonomy and proactive communication are key to project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalise IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Acquire and manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and technology.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, communication plans, and associated documentation.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through clear, consistent, and timely communication regarding project status and risks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management , managing diverse technology projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and network technologies.
- Excellent remote communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage virtual teams effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello.
- A relevant IT certification (e.g., CompTIA Project+, PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
