About the Role
Our client, a well-established charity, is seeking an experienced and driven Charity Project Manager to lead impactful projects from inception to completion in Portsmouth . This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of programmes that address key community needs and align with the organisation's strategic goals. You will be responsible for project planning, resource allocation, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring project outcomes to ensure maximum social impact. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned charity projects, from planning and design to implementation and evaluation.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and reporting on expenditure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, beneficiaries, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Prepare regular project reports for senior management and funders, demonstrating impact and accountability.
Requirements
- Proven track record in project management, with experience in the charity or non-profit sector highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
