About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Renewable Energy Project Manager to join their fully remote team, spearheading the development and execution of innovative energy projects across the UK . This role is crucial for driving the successful delivery of solar, wind, and energy storage projects from initial concept through to commissioning. You will manage cross-functional teams, budgets, and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project management of renewable energy development projects, including planning, execution, and closing phases.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure project success.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, legal, finance) and external stakeholders (suppliers, contractors, regulatory bodies).
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on renewable energy projects (solar, wind, storage).
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex energy projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience in remote team leadership.
