Senior Project Manager
Key responsibilities:
- Take end-to-end ownership of key projects – from brief acceptance, through quotation and prototyping, to production, logistics and final delivery.
- Be accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards, while ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Plan projects, define actionable steps, timelines and resources, and continuously assess risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate collaboration across Design, Engineering, Development, Production, Logistics, Commercial teams, clients and external suppliers.
- Act as the primary point of contact and central owner of project execution, ensuring effective communication and coordination across all stakeholders.
- Monitor project milestones, identify risks, delays and cost overruns, and recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Support the Commercial team in preparing client offers and communicate any changes to project scope, timeline or cost in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage relationships and performance of external vendors and partners, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines, quality standards and project requirements.
- For outsourced projects, take central ownership of the full scope of activities managed by external suppliers while maintaining client accountability and required quality standards.
- Prepare project status updates, reports and summaries for clients, management and other stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings with key clients and support project-specific discussions, problem solving and decision-making.
- Conduct post-project reviews on selected projects, identify lessons learned and contribute to improving processes and ways of working.
- Support the onboarding, mentoring and development of less experienced Project Managers by sharing knowledge, experience and best practices.
- Participate in company improvement projects focused on enhancing organisational processes and ways of working.
What we are looking for:
- 5–7 years of experience in project management, ideally within a manufacturing, product or retail environment.
- Proven experience managing complex projects from briefing/quotation through to production and final delivery.
- Experience working with external vendors or within an outsourced delivery model will be an advantage.
- Strong project planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams, timelines, budgets and quality requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to proactively identify and address project risks and challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to read CAD drawings or willingness to learn.
- Experience in cost estimation will be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel when required.
