About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated Senior Project Manager with a specialization in infrastructure projects to join their team in Southampton . This role is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of significant infrastructure developments, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key part in managing project lifecycles, coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic development goals in the Hampshire region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Manage and coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Report project progress, risks, and issues to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Implement best practices in infrastructure project management and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Significant experience (8+ years) in managing complex infrastructure projects .
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and engineering principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with relevant regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance.
- Professional qualification such as PMP or equivalent is required.
