About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and organised Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of projects related to network deployment and infrastructure upgrades in the Wolverhampton area. This role requires exceptional planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. This is a key role within the company, contributing to the successful expansion and maintenance of telecommunications networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of telecoms projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and budget control.
- Develop detailed project plans and track progress against milestones, identifying and mitigating risks proactively.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct project reviews and provide regular status reports to senior management regarding project progress in Wolverhampton .
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant portion in the telecommunications sector.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
