About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure projects in and around Manchester . This is a high-impact role responsible for the successful delivery of complex civil engineering and infrastructure developments, from inception through to completion. You will manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder relationships, ensuring that all projects meet stringent quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, capable of navigating complex challenges and driving project teams to achieve ambitious goals in a demanding sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of major infrastructure construction projects.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including site staff, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Manage stakeholder communications, including clients, regulatory bodies, and the public.
- Implement risk management strategies and resolve project challenges proactively.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in project management within the infrastructure construction sector.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and complex project schedules.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
