Scope of Project:
The State of South Carolina is looking for an Enterprise Project Manager - Executive (Interim Executive Director) to provide transitional and temporary executive leadership for the Network Infrastructure Services division. This position will lead organizational transformation, restructuring, executive technology initiatives, governance improvements, and operational maturity while providing strategic leadership during the interim period.
Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership for the Network Infrastructure Services division.
- Lead organizational transformation and change management initiatives.
- Drive organizational restructuring and culture change.
- Lead large, complex technology organizations.
- Manage personnel, coaching, and performance accountability.
- Develop enterprise IT strategy.
- Work with executive leadership, governing boards, and cabinet-level administration.
- Implement governance and operational maturity frameworks.
- Support audit remediation and risk management initiatives.
- Lead organizational turnaround efforts.
- Manage organizational change within higher education.
- Oversee enterprise network architecture and engineering initiatives.
Required/Preferred Skills:
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and experience.
- 3+ years of Executive organizational transformation and change management.
- 3+ years leading organizational restructuring and culture change.
- 3+ years of Executive leadership of large, complex technology organizations.
- 3+ years of personnel management, coaching, and performance accountability.
Preferred Skills
- Experience leading organizational turnaround initiatives.
- Experience rebuilding organizational culture following periods of instability.
- Experience implementing governance and operational maturity frameworks.
- Experience managing organizational change in higher education.
- Enterprise IT strategy development.
- Experience working with executive leadership, governing boards, and cabinet-level administration.
- Knowledge of network operations, project management, change management, and enterprise network architecture and engineering.
- Experience supporting audit remediation and risk management initiatives.
