Overview As a Project Manager for residential groundworks, you oversee multiple schemes from pre-start to completion, coordinating with contracts, site and commercial teams to deliver safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll lead site teams and manage programmes across Gloucestershire and surrounding counties, handling infrastructure packages such as roads, sewers, earthworks and foundations. This is a growth-focused role in a financially stable contractor with a clear path for progression. You’ll shape project delivery and client relationships in a high-quality, regionally focused operation.

Responsibilities - Manage the operational delivery of multiple residential groundworks projects
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget
- Lead and support Site Managers, Engineers and Foremen
- Produce and monitor project programmes
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors
- Chair site progress meetings with clients and consultants
- Monitor project performance, quality and productivity
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and environmental legislation
- Collaborate with the Commercial Team to manage project costs and variations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
Key requirements - Proven experience as a Project Manager within residential groundworks
- Strong knowledge of roads & sewers, earthworks, drainage, foundations and external works
- Experience delivering projects for major UK housebuilders
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong planning and organisational ability
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage project performance
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
