Overview In this role you will provide 1st line risk management support for Costain’s contracted client projects, helping contract and project teams implement robust risk practices. You will collate and analyse risk data, report on risk matters, and escalate through both internal governance and client mechanisms. The role requires security clearance and UK residence. You’ll work to maintain and improve risk governance, ensuring alignment with Costain standards and client requirements. This is an opportunity to shape risk management across high‑impact infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities - Facilitate and lead all aspects of the risk management process to comply with the risk management plan
- Author the Contract Risk Management Plan and update it annually
- Lead monthly risk reviews with risk owners to ensure quality risk data
- Publish monthly risk registers
- Generate monthly reports for key risk roles to perform responsibilities
- Maintain risk product quality against risk standards
- Prepare risk data and perform routine risk analysis
Key requirements - Ability to apply and operate core requirements of a standard project risk process, including maintenance of risk registers
- Experience planning collaborative risk activities to help project teams identify, evaluate, respond to, and report on risks to objectives
