Overview In this role you will lead PM delivery for energy transmission and distribution projects within WSP’s Energy Networks team. You will coordinate cross-functional engineers, manage client relationships, and ensure programme and cost control to deliver high-voltage projects. You’ll shape project deliverables, risk, and quality while supporting bid activities. Responsibilities - Form the project team and secure needed resources
- Define and agree project deliverables with client and team
- Manage contract delivery and stakeholders
- Create project plan and resourced programme for service delivery
- Control time and resources against forecast
- Monitor, control, and report progress against programme
- Forecast and manage project spend
- Lead engineering design resources in project deliverables
- Support bid team with proposals and tenders
- Manage risk, change, and quality in delivery
- Oversee consultancy services through frameworks
Key requirements - Experience leading PM and delivery of energy transmission and distribution projects
- Knowledge of UK regulated and non-regulated transmission/distribution sectors
- Professional PM qualifications (APM or PMI)
- Experience liaising with clients and building relationships
- Proficient in MS Office, including MS Project
- Primavera P6 is advantageous
- Higher education qualifications in engineering discipline
