Overview As Risk Manager, you will lead risk planning and governance within our Natural Resources and New Energies portfolio. You’ll design tailored risk processes, run workshops, and drive mitigation actions across projects to safeguard outcomes. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to keep risk data robust and transparent, leveraging QRA and modern reporting tools. This role offers collaboration with a renowned Risk Management community and exposure to high-profile programmes. You’ll help shape risk strategy and contribute to our growing capabilities.

Responsibilities - Plan, design and implement risk management processes aligned with client needs and best practice
- Facilitate risk workshops with subject matter experts
- Create and maintain risk registers and related information
- Challenge risk data to improve quality and robustness
- Drive mitigation actions across projects and programmes
- Assist in developing measurable risk responses post-mitigation
- Conduct Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) for cost and schedule impact
- Produce timely risk reporting using PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Power BI
- Coordinate with Project Controls to align information
- Collaborate with supply chain to capture external risks
Key requirements - Experience managing risk across multiple projects/programmes or in a similar risk role
- Familiarity with at least one risk standard or approach (ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA)
- Familiarity with at least one risk tool
- Awareness of Monte-Carlo QRA techniques
- Understanding of how Scheduling, Cost Control and Change Control interact with Risk Management desirable
- Risk qualifications such as APM Risk Certificate Level 2 or MoR desirable
- Familiarity with NEC contracts
- Excellent communication of complex risk information to stakeholders
- Adaptability to changing risk strategies and processes
