Overview In this role you support delivery of major infrastructure and electrical projects within the Energy & Natural Resources division. You will assist senior project managers, coordinating design, procurement and on-site activities to ensure safe, compliant delivery. You’ll work with a diverse team and stakeholders to track progress, manage risks, and report on time and cost. This is an opportunity to grow independence while leveraging broader Turner & Townsend project controls expertise in a client-facing setting.
Responsibilities - Support NEC contract management across design, early works and construction phases with contractor oversight
- Coordinate design information and technical inputs among designers, suppliers and site teams
- Track programme, cost, risk and progress data; contribute to reporting and informed decisions
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, schedules and governance-aligned reporting packs
- Monitor compliance with time, cost, quality, safety and technical standards for electrical infrastructure
- Assist risk identification and mitigation within project controls processes
- Engage with clients and stakeholders; facilitate communication across engineering, delivery, commercial and site teams
- Support internal processes including resource coordination, documentation updates and knowledge sharing
Key requirements - Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline
- Working towards a professional qualification (APM, MCIOB, ICE, IET)
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks or workstreams
- Eligibility to obtain BPSS security clearance
- Experience on infrastructure, utilities, or construction projects (desirable)
- Exposure to HV/LV electrical systems or electrical infrastructure works (desirable)
- Strong organisational and communication skills; comfortable with multi-disciplinary teams
