Overview In this role you will manage engineering issues across wind, solar, and storage projects within the asset portfolio. You will join the Operations Support and Advisory Team to help onboard assets, oversee additional services, and ensure HSQE standards. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to integrate projects, manage supplier relationships, and drive improvements in risk, compliance and performance. This position offers broad exposure to renewable asset management with regional and international opportunities and a focus on delivering value across the portfolio.
Responsibilities - Onboard new renewable energy assets into the asset management portfolio before handover to Asset Managers
- Coordinate onboarding with OT, AOS, Finance, and Control Centre to complete onboarding steps
- Project manage Additional Services projects across Wind, Solar and Storage assets
- Identify opportunities within the Asset Management portfolio and execute Additional Services from approval to completion
- Ensure compliance and deliverables, including supervision of works and contractors
- Lead contract improvement plans to support the Commercial AM Team
- Develop risk, compliance, and performance processes to support growth and cost reduction targets
- Support other RES Services teams (Advisory, ESG, Commercial, OT/Cyber)
- Manage Cyber Security assessments with third-party suppliers and collaborate with the RES OT team on hardware upgrades
- Lead areas of personal expertise within the Operations Support and Advisory Team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Key requirements - Experience in Projects/Asset Management in a Renewable engineering environment
- At least 1 year of Grid Scale Wind, Solar and/or Storage projects experience
- On-site work management experience (OT, SCADA, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical)
- Contract management experience
- Interpretation of engineering drawings, work instructions and design reviews
- Budget and project cost management
- Contract specification review and preparation
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French and/or Spanish advantageous
