Overview As Project Portfolio Manager, you steer a portfolio of OTT/TV Everywhere projects for a UK-based team, guiding delivery health and P&L across EMEA. You lead a multi-disciplinary group of Project Delivery Managers and engineers, shaping strategic roadmaps and client engagements. You collaborate with product, architecture, and QA teams to align deliverables with client goals. This role offers influence across multiple markets, with a focus on governance, commercial outcomes, and people leadership while delivering high-impact sports and media solutions.
Responsibilities - Contribute to technical and strategic direction of the project portfolio to align with client roadmaps
- Programme-manage delivery of multiple OTT/TV Everywhere products with a team of Project Delivery Managers
- Lead internal and external multidisciplinary teams (product owners, architects, engineers, QA)
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 10+ across EMEA
- Own and analyse delivery health and project P&L at each stage of client engagement
- Manage and own commercial and contractual engagements across the portfolio
- Facilitate communication between product teams, stakeholders, and delivery teams using internal governance tools
- Maintain high-level client relationships, driving strategic outlooks and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities
Key requirements - 5+ years managing complex projects up to 12 months with budgets > 2 million
- Agile Scrum and/or Kanban experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication at all organisational levels
- Proven ability to operate through ambiguity and drive results without direct authority
- Strong understanding of technology, processes, risks, and controls with business acumen to link delivery to commercial outcomes
- Strong problem-solving and senior-level decision-making capability
- Track record of leading and mentoring teams of 10+ across multiple markets
