Overview In this role you lead the delivery of large-scale MEP works across shafts, headhouses, and portal buildings. You own the full lifecycle from design through mobilisation to construction, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets. You review design outputs for constructability, monitor progress, manage risks and changes, and support commissioning and handover. You’ll report to senior management and help drive procurement, testing, and site readiness in a major infrastructure context.
Responsibilities - Lead delivery of MEP works across multiple structures
- Manage full lifecycle from detailed design to construction
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure safety, programme, budget, and quality compliance
- Review design for constructability and efficiency
- Oversee contractor performance and programme adherence
- Manage risks, interfaces, and control changes
- Monitor progress, report milestones, and implement recovery plans
- Support procurement, commissioning, testing, and handover
- Produce progress reports for senior management and stakeholders
Key requirements - Proven PM experience delivering large-scale MEP works
- Background in major infrastructure or complex projects (rail, tunnelling, utilities, energy)
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, building services, public health systems, testing and commissioning
- Experience managing full project cycles (design, mobilisation, construction)
- Strong coordination of contractors and multidisciplinary teams
