Operational Readiness Project Manager
This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing operational readiness activities for a new manufacturing site or facility startup. The role works across multiple departments to ensure operational processes, personnel, and systems are prepared to support successful project delivery and site launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage operational readiness plans across multiple functional areas.
- Lead cross-functional teams to create and maintain integrated project schedules.
- Track readiness deliverables and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
- Align operational readiness activities with overall project, construction, and qualification schedules.
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Promote project management best practices and support collaboration across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similar regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience working across multiple business functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large capital projects, facility startups, or commissioning activities.
- Strong project management and operational readiness expertise.
- Experience collaborating with Engineering, Automation, Facilities, Safety, Quality, and Operations teams.
- Proficiency with Smartsheet or similar scheduling tools.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
