Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to lead interior renovation, tenant improvement, and occupied-space construction projects ranging up to $15M. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing commercial renovation work in active environments while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial renovation and interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, subcontractor scopes, and procurement plans.
- Coordinate construction activities in occupied facilities while minimizing disruptions to ongoing operations.
- Lead meetings with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Monitor project costs, track changes, and manage owner communications throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Review construction documents, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Ensure adherence to local building codes, company standards, and project specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits and maintain progress reporting for all stakeholders.
- Manage project closeout activities including punch lists, commissioning, final inspections, and turnover documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial renovation, tenant improvement, healthcare, hospitality, office, retail, or occupied-space construction projects.
- Proven experience successfully delivering commercial renovations valued up to $15M.
- Strong understanding of renovation sequencing, phasing, and logistics within operational facilities.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
