OneSparQ is seeking a Drinking Water Project Manager for a leading engineering consulting firm based in Tampa, FL.
*This is a fully remote opportunity that requires approximately 10-25% travel for project-related activities.*
Required Skills
- 10+ years of consulting engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Florida, or California, or the ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
- Strong project management and project delivery experience within civil and environmental engineering
- In-depth knowledge of municipal drinking water systems and related engineering principles
- Thorough understanding of applicable state and federal regulations
- Experience developing proposals, project scopes, budgets, and schedules
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage water system planning, design, and construction projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery
- Develop overall project delivery strategies and partner with leadership to establish project approaches and solutions
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, attending meetings, presentations, and proposal discussions
- Take ownership of projects from initiation through completion, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, leadership, and project teams
- Coordinate with state and federal agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements
- Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and quality to ensure successful outcomes
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for future work and project growth
