ERP Project Manager (Acumatica)
A growing consulting firm is looking for an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead end-to-end implementations of cloud ERP solutions, with a focus on Acumatica. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment where you’ll have real ownership and impact across multiple projects.
What You’ll Do
- Own full lifecycle project delivery for ERP implementations — from kickoff through go-live and transition to support
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communication, expectations, and escalations
- Build and manage detailed project plans, milestones, and resource schedules across cross-functional teams
- Lead discovery sessions and requirements gathering to define clear, actionable project scope
- Monitor project health across timeline, budget, and scope — proactively identifying and mitigating risks
- Coordinate internal teams across consulting, configuration, development, data migration, and training
- Drive go-live readiness including UAT, training coordination, cutover planning, and post-launch stabilization
- Maintain thorough project documentation (status reports, risk logs, change requests, etc.)
- Contribute to improving internal delivery processes as the practice scales
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 3+ years of project management experience, ideally within ERP or enterprise software delivery
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively
- Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and building structure where needed
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and aligning diverse stakeholders
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud ERP platforms (e.g., Acumatica, NetSuite, Dynamics 365)
- Background in accounting, finance, or working closely with finance teams
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Rocketlane, Asana, Monday.com)
- PMP or similar certification
- Previous experience in a consulting or VAR environment
