Job title: Project Manager, Data Center Construction (Remote, US)
CrimsonXT is working with a mission critical design-build partner looking for a Project Manager to take full ownership of delivery on their live and upcoming data center projects.
They pursue the technically demanding builds other contractors avoid, and they’re building a team of driven, high-calibre people to deliver them.
What you’ll do:
- Own projects end to end, from estimate through closeout documentation
- Translate design documents into clear direction for designers, subcontractors and vendors
- Build and manage complex schedules, and forecast and mitigate project risk
- Solicit and level bids, and prepare accurate take-offs and proposals
- Manage budgets, billings, change orders and cash flow
- Oversee MOP and SOP development and lead site supervision
- Own the client relationship and drive safety and quality on every project
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years in Project Management or Senior Project Engineering
- General contractor background is essential (owner’s rep backgrounds will not be considered)
- Proven data center or mission critical delivery, ideally ground-up; Telecom and DC Power experience is a plus
- A track record of tenure and stability with previous employers
- Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Right to work in the US. Visa sponsorship is not available
Location
Fully remote with up to 30% travel to active site(s).
Package:
- Base salary up to $200K depending on experience
