Overview As Senior Project Manager - Electrical at Skanska Building Services, you will lead day-to-day operations on large, multi-disciplinary commercial projects, including data centre fit-outs. You’ll ensure design, engineering, construction and commissioning are compliant while driving end-to-end programme delivery. You will manage commercial and contractual controls, risk mitigation, and tender processes, with line management responsibilities. Responsibilities - Lead day-to-day operational management on large-scale, multi-disciplinary commercial projects (pre-construction, design, procurement, installation, logistics, commissioning, handover)
- Ensure full compliance across design, engineering, construction and commissioning processes
- Develop and administer project controls and ensure implementation and compliance
- Understand, develop, scrutinise, deliver and monitor the end-to-end programme
- Maintain control of the project’s commercial and contractual requirements
- Oversee risk mitigation activities and pursue opportunities
- Compile tender submissions and secure sign-off from SLT
- Implement, manage, record and report under HSE management systems
- Undertake line management responsibilities for direct and indirect employees
Key requirements - Experience leading project teams on large commercial schemes in London and surrounding areas
- Combined package responsibility of approximately 25m
- Proven track record delivering large-scale MEP contracts on time and within budget
- Formal H&S training accreditation, SMSTS minimum
- Experience and knowledge of testing and commissioning complete MEP installations
