Overview In this role you lead large-scale, ground-up data centre construction projects for major tech clients across Europe, from inception to commissioning. You will work within the Data Centre team to set project goals, governance, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll manage quality, safety, environment, cost, and schedule while interfacing with clients and consultants. Responsibilities - Advise at strategic level at project conception and evaluate delivery approaches
- Establish overall project success criteria (time, cost, technical, performance)
- Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment
- Set up and maintain project governance, processes and systems
- Produce detailed project plans and manage procurement of resources
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams
- Monitor performance using KPIs and drive improvements
- Oversee change control and project finances
- Manage information flow with client through meetings and communications
- Interface with client and consultants at all stages and produce progress reports
Key requirements - Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
- Professionally qualified in construction, project management, engineering, or architecture
- Chartered status or on path to it
- Understanding of full project lifecycle from conception to post-project review
- Strong knowledge of project management concepts, tools and techniques
- Design, management or construction experience in general construction (residential, office, fit-outs, health & education)
