Overview In this role you will lead project controls for major infrastructure programmes in London and the South East, ensuring accuracy and consistency of plans, costs, safety, and performance reporting. You’ll establish and maintain GRIP-compliant control processes, coordinate resources, and support Programme and Project Managers with timely reporting and data integrity. This is a hands-on position that shapes how large, complex projects are planned, financed and delivered, contributing to Turner & Townsend’s mission to enable high-impact outcomes.

Responsibilities - Lead the programme controls function for infrastructure projects in London
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting
- Deploy controls team resources effectively across the programme
- Establish control processes in line with GRIP and Programme Controller directions
- Review new project proposals/remits and develop realistic resource plans
- Identify resourcing requirements and liaise with planning functions
- Provide day-to-day reporting support to Programme and Project Managers
- Monitor data input to cost and performance systems to meet standards
- Manage production of the Investment Plan and comply with the Investment Competence Framework
Key requirements - Experience in planning and scheduling, including schedule development, control and analysis
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with PC operating systems and basic software applications
- Experience with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and start-up processes
