Overview In this role you will lead end-to-end genset project delivery for Cummins’ Power Gen department, aligning objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality. You will coordinate logistics, installation activities, and ITPs to support execution and work with internal teams and external stakeholders. You will monitor progress through KPIs, identify risks, and foster a strong safety culture. You will mentor junior project managers and capture lessons learned to drive continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role for someone who can scale projects while maintaining stakeholder focus and delivering value.
Responsibilities - Lead multiple projects from initiation to completion, satisfying objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Plan and coordinate logistics, resources, deliveries, installation activities, and ITPs
- Schedule and oversee commissioning activities with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Monitor, manage, and report project KPIs to provide visibility on progress
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and resolve issues to ensure project success
- Promote Health, Safety, and Environment culture and act as a safety ambassador
- Mentor and develop junior Project Managers and project teams
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate status; capture lessons learned for continuous improvement
Key requirements - Relevant project management experience including team leadership
- Education/qualification: College, university, or equivalent degree
