Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and support infrastructure initiatives across our organization. This role works collaboratively with IT Infrastructure, business units, and external vendors to understand requirements and deliver robust, secure, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, business stakeholders, and vendors to gather, refine, and enhance technical and business requirements.
- Lead the design, build, validation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of infrastructure solutions, including hardware, hosting, cloud, and networking components.
- Drive infrastructure hardening efforts to improve security posture, including patch management, configuration baselines, and vulnerability remediation.
- Manage project financials, including labor, vendor contracts, and purchase orders, ensuring alignment with budget and forecasting.
- Operate effectively in both Waterfall and Agile environments:
- In Waterfall: Lead creation and maintenance of governance documentation (Project Charter, project plans, risk logs, issue trackers, change requests).
- In Agile: Act as Scrum Master, facilitating ceremonies, managing sprint execution, and ensuring backlog delivery aligns with product owner priorities.
- Proactively identify and remove impediments across departments to maintain project momentum.
- Ensure compliance with IT controls, delivery frameworks, and project governance standards.
- Utilize and champion the use of Portfolio and Project Management tools and Agile tools—Jira is required.
- Escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to leadership in a timely and effective manner.
- Support teams in transitioning from Waterfall to Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in infrastructure domains including hardware, hosting, cloud platforms, networking, and security hardening.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure hardening practices and tools.
- Strong understanding of project financials and budget management.
- Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience leading teams through both.
- Required experience with Jira for Agile project tracking and collaboration.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to build relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to lead teams through ambiguity and drive results in complex environments.
- Experience supporting Agile transformation initiatives and coaching teams through change.
- Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
