IT Project Manager

Location: Waltham, MA

Contract: 6 months

Schedule: Hybrid

Pay: $40-50/hour, DOE

IT Project Manager Qualifications:

5 years minimum of project management experience, independently leading IT projects from definition through deployment
5 years minimum experience working in a large global environment.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills enabling you to manage cross functional projects in a resource matrix environment
Ability to proactively manage change by assessing project impacts and creating plans to address resistance to change
Experience with Agile (specifically Scrum) and Project Management tools
Deep understanding of Project Management Methodologies and ability to navigate between Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid projects
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment
Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge of technologies and products (highly technical).

IT Project Manager Responsibilities:

Provide project management oversight for application development projects
Partner with Product Managers, Development Managers, and the PMO to complete capacity planning
Ensure project artifacts are complete and available to project and portfolio stakeholders
Provide accurate and timely transparency into project status across stakeholders
Manage Project Risks and Issues through proper escalation and mitigation planning
Lead Project Closures and Retrospectives
Manage customer expectations and partner with project stakeholders to effectively negotiate priorities, release planning, and delivery schedules
Work closely with related Scrum Masters and Product Managers to ensure scrum artifacts support the overall project delivery
