Program Manager
Location: Beaverton, OR
Contract length: ~6 months
Schedule: Onsite Monday-Thursday, WFH Friday
Pay: $64-$66.20/hr, DOE
The Planet Group is looking for a Program Manager to join our well-known retail brand on a roughly 6-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid in Beaverton, OR, working onsite Monday-Thursday and working from home on Friday. This person will oversee several project workstreams to assist with contract management, tracking milestones to see how well teams are doing regarding divestiture work.
Program Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required; MBA Degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years directly relevant experience and should include comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert
- One of the following alternatives may be accepted: - PhD or Law + 8 yrs; Masters + 9 yrs; Associates degree + 11 yrs; High School + 12 yrs.
- PMP certification is a plus
- Expert using Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
- Organized and proactive
- Experience with stakeholder engagement
- Effective communication (verbal and written) skills
- Previous program/project management experience in an HR/organizational transformation space
Program Manager Description:
- Define tools and processes to support overall organizational excellence in program/project management and process definition
- Develop vision, strategy and deliverables of the large international program
- Ensure program is aligned with business strategies and budgets
- Own the business case for the program, establish and maintain cross-functional and regional coordination
- Maintain ultimate responsibility regarding program objectives operating within financial and resource constraints
- Manage project dependencies within the program and build the program team
- Ensure vendor contracts, relationships, performance, and communications are well managed
- Ensure proper Project Management staffing for all projects within the program
- Help develop project objectives and project scope
- Act as an escalation point for project issues that impact projects' cost, schedule and / or performance
- Chair program steering committee meetings
- Work on a small, direct team as well as cross-functional collaboration with VPs, other executives, HR, senior management, etc.
