Technical Product Manager
Location: Beaverton, OR
Contract length: ~5 months
Schedule: Onsite Monday-Thursday, WFH Friday
Pay: $77-$79.33hr, DOE
The Planet Group is looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our well-known retail brand on a roughly 5-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid in Beaverton, OR, working onsite Monday-Thursday and working from home on Friday.
Technical Product Manager Qualifications:
- Must have prior technical product management experience, especially in developing strategy, roadmaps, etc.
- Proven track record of delivering successful products in complex, cross-functional environments
- Demonstrated leadership of large-scale initiatives involving multiple squads
- Experience in defining and evolving product strategies based on data and market insights
- Deep involvement in technical decision-making and future state architecture planning
- Experience with stakeholder management and risk and opportunity assessment
- Jira & Confluence experience is a plus
- Innovative, strategic, results-oriented thinker
- Foster effective teamwork and value differences
Technical Product Manager Description:
- Define and execute product strategies aligned with quarterly, annual, and multi-year business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle—from ideation to launch—with a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Drive adoption and evolution of product management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Influence and align stakeholders across departments and external partners.
- Solve complex business problems in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
- Actively mentor and coach junior product professionals and contribute to organizational capability building
- Proactively identify opportunities for organizational improvement and innovation
- Play a key role in shaping the product culture and capability maturity across the organization
- Directly influence the success of cross-functional teams and major programs
