Technical Project Manager – Bank Fraud Technology
Location: San Antonio, TX or Plano, TX (4 days onsite / 1 day remote)

Overview
We are hiring Technical Project Managers to support high-priority initiatives within Bank Fraud and Financial Crimes Technology. These roles focus on executive engagement, problem definition, and cross-functional coordination, acting as the bridge between business leaders and IT delivery teams. This is a non-hands-on execution role ideal for candidates who excel at scoping work, aligning stakeholders, and monitoring delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with executives and business leaders to define problems, scope initiatives, and clarify objectives
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable project scopes for technology teams
- Act as the liaison between business and IT, ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders
- Monitor delivery progress, risks, and dependencies; provide executive-level status updates
- Ensure initiatives remain aligned to original business goals throughout execution
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in the technology space (Technical Project Manager, Product Owner, or similar)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working directly with senior leaders and executives
- Background in financial services preferred
Preferred Experience
- Fraud or Financial Crimes technology experience
- Experience with Actimize and JIRA
- Exposure to data-driven initiatives (data querying, modeling, pipelines, analytics)
- Prior USAA experience
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
Work Environment
Onsite 4 days per week with 1 remote day
