Job Description:
Job Title: Electrical PM
Location: Remote, but preferred if the candidates are local to Seattle
Duration: 1 year with potential to extend
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support electrical systems, onsite renewables, microgrid, and energy management solutioning (preferred).
- Define scope, validate needs, and build project/program plans; manage risks and mitigation.
- Lead execution of projects and product-development initiatives; run kickoffs and weekly alignment meetings.
- Track schedules, milestones, and line-item delays; escalate schedule-impacting issues.
- Own metrics, dashboards, and single-source-of-truth reporting; contribute to newsletters/white papers and lessons learned.
- Coordinate inputs across stakeholders (Sustainability, Construction, Design & Engineering, Finance, etc.).
- Manage external vendors to deliver to quality standards; report progress.
- Improve PM tools, systems, and processes; build stakeholder/executive communications.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and/or renewables (preferred).
- 2–5 years managing complex projects/programs and driving implementation.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams; able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written/verbal communication; ability to influence, negotiate, and work with external partners.
- Proficiency with PM tools (MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet) and Microsoft Office.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering with onsite renewables (e.g., solar PV, BESS, hydrogen) and microgrid design/planning/execution experience.
- Dashboarding/visualization (QuickSight, Tableau).
- LEED GA; PMP; engineering/architectural registration; CEM or similar accreditation.
- Ability to manage internal SME stakeholders and external vendors.
- Experience with sustainable building standards and design processes.
