Description
Lead End-to-End DC Implementation: Lead end-to-end project activities across AppleCare and Finished Goods DC programs — developing schedules, managing priorities, and balancing business needs. Drive Requirements Gathering and Solutioning: Lead requirements gathering with DC operations teams and 3PL partners, with a solutioning mindset that drives standardized and integrated designs. Apply Systems and Process Thinking to DC Solutions: Think across DC operations, systems, and data flows to anticipate downstream consequences of design decisions. Champion UAT and Change Management: Lead UAT across DC operations and drive change management to ensure go-live readiness. Enable Knowledge Management: At project close, ensure process flows, system configurations, and lessons learned are documented. Identify and Manage Project Risks: Proactively identify and manage operational and systems risks throughout the project lifecycle — making pragmatic trade-offs that balance quality and risk. Drive Vendor Performance and Project Delivery: Hold vendors and 3PL DC operators accountable to deliverables and timelines, driving integration alignment and process standardization across DC operations. Manage Stakeholder and Partner Expectations: Communicate clearly on scope, timelines, and risks across internal and external partners. Collaborate Across Cross-Functional Teams: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure DC requirements and broader organizational objectives are met. Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in business analysis and project management. At least 3 years of experience managing 3PL partners or working within a DC or warehousing environment (Contract Logistics / Distribution Centre operations). Experience with IT systems implementation in a DC context, including SAP, WMS (e.g. Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, or equivalent enterprise WMS), or EDI/API integrations. Demonstrated project management track record, including management of scope, time, schedule, quality, and risk. Strong project leadership skills with the ability to influence decisions and facilitate change management across both business and technical communities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, including facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution. Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent Experience with DC operations spanning AppleCare, Finished Goods, service logistics, or returns and reverse logistics — including familiarity with returns processing, device screening, or service parts management workflows. Knowledge of SAP in a DC or logistics context, including familiarity with EDI/API and iDoc flows and WMS integrations. Proficiency in process and system flow visualisation tools (e.g. OmniGraffle, Miro, or equivalent) — able to translate complex multi-step workflows into clear, structured diagrams and sustain them as accurate references over time. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and project planning tools. Experience working in virtual or multi-disciplinary, cross-cultural team environments. A growth mindset with a keen interest in exploring and applying AI/ML tools, generative AI, and intelligent automation to improve workflows, enhance output quality, and drive innovation.
