A non‑profit health system comprised of six hospitals in the Portland, OR area, is excited to hire an Epilepsy Program Director, additional neurologists, and vascular neurologists/neurohospitalists to their hospitals in Portland‑Vancouver metro area. Current needs include Epilepsy, Neuromuscular Neurologists or Clinical Neurophysiologists, as well as General Neurologists. All hospitals are 10‑15 minutes from downtown Portland. Their flagship hospital has 554 beds and is only one of two level‑1 trauma centers in Oregon.

Current Opportunities
Epilepsy Program Director:
- Opportunity based at Medical Center in Northwest Portland
- Core responsibilities include outpatient clinic, EMU service, and EEG interpretation.
- Epilepsy fellowship training and a minimum of five years of post‑graduate experience in outpatient epilepsy management and EEG interpretation required
- Ideal candidates will have experience with an epilepsy surgery program
- Collaborate with functional neurosurgeons and support staff
- Evaluate patients for surgery
- Grow program to achieve NAEC epilepsy center certification
- Join a collaborative team of 9 outpatient neurologists (including one epileptologist), 4 clinic‑based APPs, and 10 neurohospitalists
- The epilepsy program includes a 4‑bed EMU and a comprehensive epilepsy surgery service.
- Provide outpatient consultation and longitudinal care for patients with epilepsy and other neurological conditions.

- 249 bed medical center with systems only EMU
- 4‑bed EMU, inpatient EEG reads
- Immediate volume to start, support to build subspecialized practice
- No hospital call
- Will take EMU patient call during EMU service (~1 week/month)
- Clinic call 2‑3 weeknights/month (0‑2 calls), inpatient EEG reading 1 weekend/month concurrent with 1:9 weekend clinic call coverage
- Subspecialty fellowship in epilepsy or clinical neurophysiology/EEG focus required
- Schedule M‑F, 8 am to 5 pm

Stroke/Neurohospitalist – Portland & Vancouver Metro Area:
- Location will vary, neurohospitalist will rotate weekly through their flagship hospital in Portland, Oregon, and all community hospitals
- 100% inpatient volume – stroke heavy position
- Consult service
- Stroke fellowship or neurohospitalist experience required
- Flexible schedule – current schedule M‑F, 7 am to 5 pm with a 3‑week‑on, 1‑week‑off rotation but they are open to a 7on/7off schedule
- Will take call 1:4 weekends
- Internal telestroke system 24/7, which also provides overnight coverage.
