Job Summary Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Special Education and the Coordinator of Special Education, the Program Specialist assists in the planning, development, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of programs for individuals with special needs. The program and inclusion specialist will provide coordination, consultation and program development across all levels from Infant to Adult Transition. The Specialist supports compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, facilitates high-quality instruction in the least restrictive environment, and provides professional development, coaching, and technical assistance to certificated and classified staff.
The ideal candidate for CCUSD will be able to demonstrate an ability to support students and a willingness to work collaboratively and independently in a diverse environment committed to equity, justice, and students' social and emotional wellness.
Requirements / Qualifications - Copy of Transcript (Unofficial can be attached to the application but should you be selected sealed official transcripts will be required.)
- Credential Copy (Special Education credential including Autism authorization and CLAD/English Language Learner certification)
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three letters, written within the last year.)
