Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed project plans for enterprise software implementations, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, QA testers, and subject matter experts, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Oversee the configuration, customisation, and integration of software solutions to meet business requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure deliverables meet contractual obligations and quality standards.
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management and training plans to facilitate user adoption.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide detailed reports to senior management.
- Perform post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned to improve future project outcomes.
- Ensure that the implemented software aligns with the organisation's strategic goals and technical architecture.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong emphasis on enterprise software implementations (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS).
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management, risk assessment, and mitigation planning.
- Proficiency with project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
- Experience in stakeholder management and influencing across different organisational levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote work environment.
