Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple software development projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for distributed teams.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, adapting them as necessary to changing requirements.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating when appropriate to senior management.
- Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular, clear, and concise project updates.
- Coach and mentor project teams, promoting agile best practices and continuous improvement within a remote setting.
- Ensure the quality and timely delivery of project outputs, meeting defined success criteria.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations as required for project success.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management framework and team processes.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of our client's project management methodologies and standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a significant focus on agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Demonstrable success in managing complex software development or digital transformation projects.
- Excellent understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage remote teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana).
- Experience in stakeholder management and reporting to senior leadership.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile certification is highly desirable.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
