Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines for multiple technical projects simultaneously.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional, distributed teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and risks effectively, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, promoting continuous improvement.
- Oversee the development and deployment of software, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Drive the adoption and refinement of project management best practices within a remote work context.
- Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and readily accessible.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years focused on software development projects in a technical environment.
- Proven experience managing complex, large-scale projects with distributed teams.
- In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical concepts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, remote setting.
- PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, with a strong sense of ownership.
