Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, resources, and budget for digital transformation projects.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, operations, and external vendors, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication.
- Manage project risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
- Conduct regular stakeholder updates and status meetings, providing transparent reporting on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout all project phases.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into actionable project tasks.
- Manage vendor relationships and performance to ensure delivery of contracted services and products.
- Champion the adoption of new technologies and processes resulting from transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (minimum 7 years) as a Project Manager, with a significant focus on digital transformation or large-scale IT projects.
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets exceeding £1 million.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall project management techniques.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and common technology stacks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is highly desirable.
- Experience working within the London technology sector is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
