About the Role
Our client, a prominent financial institution, is seeking a dedicated Project Manager specializing in Business Change to join their strategic delivery unit in
Edinburgh . This role is crucial for driving organisational transformation, improving operational efficiency, and implementing new business processes and systems. You will manage a portfolio of change initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and realise intended benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing complex change programmes, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of business processes within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of business change projects from initiation to completion.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with business leaders and sponsors.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Manage project execution, closely monitoring progress against milestones and addressing any deviations promptly.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, identify solutions, and drive consensus among stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular, clear communication on project status, risks, and issues.
- Oversee the implementation of new processes, systems, and organisational structures, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Lead the development and execution of communication and training plans to support change adoption.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience managing business change, process improvement, or transformation projects.
- Proven ability to manage projects involving significant organisational or operational change.
- Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with project management tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with financial services operations and regulatory environments is highly desirable.
