Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex digital transformation projects across the organisation.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing proactive solutions.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including senior leadership, providing regular project updates and status reports.
- Ensure projects align with strategic business objectives and deliver measurable value.
- Oversee the implementation of new technologies and processes, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations as required.
- Adhere to project management best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies within the organisation.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion focused on digital transformation or IT infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in managing projects with budgets exceeding £1 million.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
- Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects within challenging timelines.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience working within the consultancy or professional services sector is highly desirable.
