Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire lifecycle of IT infrastructure upgrade projects, from initiation through to closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, including IT specialists, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the procurement, installation, and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing and validation strategies.
- Manage project budget, tracking expenditures and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication of project status and updates to all relevant parties.
- Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned for future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure projects, including hardware and software upgrades.
- Solid understanding of networking, server technologies, and cybersecurity principles.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, PMP) are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of IT project management experience.
