Our client is seeking an accomplished Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a variety of telecommunications infrastructure projects in and around Manchester . This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. You will lead project teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure the successful execution of network deployments and upgrades. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize telecommunications projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, utilizing project management methodologies.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Communicate project updates, issues, and risks to all stakeholders effectively and regularly.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a significant portion focused on the telecommunications industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple concurrent projects from initiation to closure.
- Strong understanding of project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, fibre optic deployments, and wireless technologies.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is highly advantageous.
