About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Telecoms Project Manager to lead critical network deployment projects in Manchester . This role involves overseeing all phases of project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives. This is a key position for someone passionate about managing complex telecommunications projects and driving successful outcomes in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage and motivate project teams, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions effectively to all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for telecom infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing telecom projects , preferably in network deployment or infrastructure upgrades.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and network infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
