About the Role
Our client is looking for an accomplished Telecoms Project Manager to lead critical projects from inception to completion in Manchester . You will be responsible for overseeing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring successful delivery of complex network upgrades and deployments. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of telecom projects , from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration amongst engineers, technicians, and vendors.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Report project progress, status, and key metrics to stakeholders regularly.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex telecom projects , ideally 5+ years.
- Solid understanding of telecommunications technologies, network infrastructure, and deployment methodologies.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
