About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee significant building projects in and around Cardiff . This role is critical for ensuring that all construction projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from initial planning and design coordination to final handover, liaising with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and a proven ability to lead site teams effectively in a demanding environment, driving successful outcomes for all stakeholders involved in the development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed construction project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient project progress.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor performance and address any issues promptly.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and resolving any concerns.
Requirements
- Significant experience in construction project management , with a portfolio of successfully delivered building projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building regulations .
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation relevant to construction sites.
- Proficiency in construction project management software and estimation tools.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
