About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager to enhance and streamline their supply chain logistics operations across Glasgow and beyond. You will lead projects focused on implementing advanced logistics technologies, improving warehouse operations, and ensuring the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to end customers. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of supply chain and logistics projects , including system implementations and process improvements.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for all assigned initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, operations, warehousing, transportation) and external partners to ensure integrated supply chain solutions.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains within the logistics network.
- Oversee the implementation of new technologies, such as WMS and TMS systems, ensuring successful integration and user adoption.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations and report on project outcomes and impact.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in supply chain management and logistics.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within logistics, warehousing, or transportation.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and distribution strategies.
- Experience with logistics software systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP) is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
